Today we celebrated Autumn Moon Festival along with Mei-Li. We had been going to these events for the past three years. Finally, we celebrated it with our daughter. Mei-Li was active as usual, and quite the social butterfly. She loved looking straight into the eyes of all the other children, and was not scared at all to approach them.
We went to the same restaurant we always go to on South Beach, and then the children trek down Lincoln Road with their lanterns to the beach. We observe the beautiful moon, and release white balloons. This year we had to forgo that part, it was getting late, and in the dark we could not see what Mei-li was doing with the sand. She was obsessed with it, and we caught her putting shells in her mouth a few times. So after some photo ops we decided to leave as it was way pass her bedtime. We had a great time, and Mei-Li enjoyed some moon cakes. We of course opted out, and had the delicious chocolate mousse cake, which was to die for.

Eve,
Oh my she is growing like crazy and is just beautiful. We celebrated with our FCC group as well. Hannah Grace had a blast! I actually tried a few moon cakes that I liked!
